The general aim of the group is to discuss the significance of H.P. Lovecraft
(cultural/historical/philosophical/literary/etc.) within a scholarly
forum - one possible aim being to organise some sort of
interdisciplinary conference/symposium on Lovecraft in the future. Although it
is a separate entity, several of the JSM editorial board are involved with this
